I hate my chargers.

Me and laptop chargers don't mix. I broke my old one and lost power to my laptop for a couple of days. I can only say, I'm glad Guitar Heros World Tour arrived before it happened and Red Dwarf was on my screen Friday night.

So, what happened when I had nothing to do? Played Guitar Heros and found I'm good at guitar and drums after two days of playing them both. And waited for Red Dwarf. Which has been good. I've heard people aren't happy, but I think it's working. Tonights episode was good laughs. Explained a lot and left a lot of doors open for new series for explanations.

My music video for media however has gone terribly wrong. Both times I could film, somethings gone wrong. Meaning I'm thinking and doing a couple of months work again in a week odd and filming to a new song. At least my Sci-fi western and trailer is done. And my horror TV is getting ready to be filmed next week.

I'll properly update Top Howl tomorrow. And continue to write it. I've stopped for a while because of lack of ideas, so to speak. But I haven't been writing none stop so writing tonight should help.

Good thing about Guitar Hero's - it's loosen my fingers again, like how they were when I played the flute. The bad side is my wrists hurt from all the keys I have to press and all the beats I have to do on drums.

I agree with myself, I was drunk

Too cool - Lister
I was definatly drunk. I couldn't type for most of the night. I'm just proud with myself for doing so well with getting home. And that I don't have a hangover of any form. My jaw hurts, but that was a tree's fault. Not mine.

I should not be allowed near vodka though - I'd had three cans of Strongbow and I would have being fine for a while longer if it wasn't for the vodka shot I had in a bet that it would make me fall into the river. But it didn't, just sent me in circles. And that's all I can remember. What I drank, and the vodka. Whoops...

Party I went to was fun. We had a lot of drink and food. Although I didn't see any of the food apart from when I was cooking it. It was good fun though, as I didn't do anything too stupid. I walked around in circles for a bit and nearly fell over when I had codka. I didn't get lost on the wayb home eihter so all good. I'll properly go eat a late tea now and go talk to people before falling asleep for ages. At least parents don't know I'm drunk...

Kid who is being an actor in my media music video is very good at finding people. I got a phone call off her before tea, and I hadn't given her my number. Scary... but on another note, she is definatly coming to the filming tomorrow. That's a bit off my mind...

I've been giddy all day - properly for being able to sleep in for once after a break months ago... I think. But you know when somethings wrong when you go to talk to your mum and suddenly out of excited-ness, start flapping your arms.

My media trailer, which shame on me, will be uploaded soon for anyone to watch. I forgot about it with all the work I've done over the past few days. Helping with year 8's over two days for BBC school news report, getting ready to film and running around finding actors, helping other people and staying behind after school to help with editing until something like 5 on both nights. Tiring.

Finally decided to go back on Twitter as well. I made it to go look around, and forgot about it. Decided it might be worth going back on for somewhere else to put muses.

And on a final note, I'm happy. English coursework is in. Don't know what my teacher thinks of the new ending for my OF, but I know I liked the original better.

Shit - Rimmer
I'm an idiot. Spent the whole week watching Red Dwarf, series one to eight. Wow... I enjoyed wasting my time in such a creative way. I finally found out when I was watching Red Dwarf when I was younger. I mean, clearly, it was the series shown through the 90's but still. I wasn't sure when my memories of the show went together with the episodes. Found out now - found out why I was more then confused about the whole idea of Red Dwarf the ship. I never saw those series, so I watched from about series 6 up.

What else has happened this week... since, really, watching Red Dwarf took me two days. *face!palm* Two full days of sitting and watching on youtube. That's baaaaad.

Well, I did my media trailer. And I've done a video for my youtube. And I've struggled with speaking again. I keep confusing words in their order constantly, and it's passing into my writing again. Re-reading some coursework for english and finding you missed an important word to link sentances up, is a really bummer on your otherwise perfect work.

I think I'll update Top Howl again soon. Since I disappeared for a week, I guess you could say it's time I updated it.

Hows everybody being as well? I haven't looked at any of the journals from pretty much tuesday. I forgot to come on LJ for ages, and so I'm fishing through a lot of journals right now.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

I watched the Boy In The Striped Pyjamas today. Oh my god. What an amazing but upsetting film.

Although it's based on a book, it's very powerful. The film is strong and the story, all credit to John Boyne, is an amazing take on Hitlers time in power. Having the story told from the childrens point of view, more than the parents or adults in general, makes it more powerful and a way for children to learn about that part in history. Shmuel and Bruno's friendship is amazing considering the situation, and, well, the ending after watching everything really is what makes it as effective.

I wanted to go see it in cinema, but I never got the chance. I'm glad I didn't now because I would have only cried. It's worth watching it, but the ending. I wouldn't have guessed it. I think I might go buy the book and read it, as it ends the same but in a different way apparently. A definate watch/read. The best visual scene from the movie? Right near the very end, which I wont explain for spoiler reasons. But there is one small action that really just highlighted their friendship desipte their 'forced'* differences.

*I use forced lightly. It was not forced upon them, their beliefs, but they were forced to be turned against each other for that reason.

Top Who

Much love to [info]lasayla! She sent me a load of links to things going around Hull, and thanks to her I've got some work with Hull Film for the film festival. So, it's a right step in the direction I want to take with work. *hugs*

Although, saying that, so much stuff is happening april now. Thank god for two weeks off to get most of the work done.

Collage was good today - last lesson was a fit of laughter. I spent nearly all of it laughing because of who I was sat next to. At least I managed to get some work done, just got to find some sound effects for my trailer and that's one more project finished. In celebration of everything good that has happened, I shall go write some more Top Howl so I'm even more on top. Having two chapters finished for posting has being a great feeling.

Do you prefer texting or talking on the phone?

I prefer... erm, I guess talking. Because it means you can hear their voices. But, as we are talking about in English Lang., I'd rather use msn. It combines them both for free and it is easier to keep a convosation going. Plus, nine times out of ten, I'm never with my phone or have it off silent to know when I get a text or phone call. I'm the worst person for that, but I never have anyone important to text so meh.
